Jeanine Hoskins has made monumental contributions to the development of our institution. From meticulous scheduling to orchestrating exceptional shows, her impact is undeniable. With an impressive portfolio of over 200 events, she has transformed the Elko High School Performing Arts Building into a hub of opportunities and unforgettable experiences for the entire community.
A pivotal force in the establishment of the school's A/V systems team, Jeanine has played a key role in shaping the technological landscape of our institution. Her leadership extends beyond the technical realm, as she adeptly directs both students and staff, creating a harmonious environment and offering outstanding job and volunteer opportunities for those passionate about the performing arts. Jeanine's dedication and vision have elevated the performing arts building to new heights, making it a cornerstone of our community's cultural vibrancy.
Casey Bennett, who has been involved in theatre at Elko High School for over two and a half years, has significantly contributed as the A/V Director for the Theatre Department. Known for his initiative, he played a key role in establishing the school’s A/V Systems team. He now serves on the board of directors for the Elko Community Concerts Association, overseeing technical work, marketing, and other operations. Additionally, Casey is a board member of the City of Elko Arts & Cultural Advisory Board, reflecting his dedication to enriching the local arts community.
Working closely with Mrs. Hoskins, he manages scheduling and tours for the Performing Arts Building, demonstrating strong organizational skills. His technical expertise spans countless hours operating both the light and sound boards, and he invests time in training new students, supporting their growth in theater technology.
Justino Nakai has been an invaluable asset to the Elko High School theater tech program for two years, with a primary focus on lighting.
Known for his versatility and quick learning, he has contributed across nearly every technical department, ensuring each production runs smoothly. In his first year, he supported multiple productions, including high school events and projects with local theater companies. His dedication and skill led him to the role of Technical Advisor for Overland Theatre's production of Matilda.
Now in his second year, Justino serves as the Lead Lighting Designer for the high school’s production of Poe: Dreams of Madness and has taken on a role as a student worker with the AV Systems Team. Additionally, he is the Lighting Designer/Director for the Elko Community Concerts Association, where he has recently designed and directed lighting for shows such as Shrek and Desdemona.
Justino continues to expand his expertise and help others, always bringing a professional touch to every project he undertakes.
Jeffrey Vaglivielo stands as a remarkable figure within the Elko High School Performing Arts Building, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the forefront. Over the span of multiple years dedicated to the Elko High School PAB, Jeffrey has seamlessly navigated and operated various applications and equipment for a multitude of events. His commitment to ensuring the reliability and redundancy of these events has significantly enhanced the overall experience for all attendees, making each occasion more seamless, enjoyable, and memorable. Jeffrey's dedication has undoubtedly contributed to the success and excellence of the Performing Arts Building, solidifying its reputation as a venue of high-quality and reliability.
