In A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare blends romance, comedy, and magic in a single enchanted night. Four young lovers, Hermia, Lysander, Helena, and Demetrius, flee into the forest, only to be tangled in a web of spells cast by mischievous fairies. Meanwhile, a band of bumbling tradesmen, led by Bottom, rehearses a play, and their antics collide with the lovers’ chaos when Bottom is transformed with a donkey’s head. At the same time, the fairy king Oberon and queen Titania quarrel until peace is restored. By dawn, order returns, love is matched correctly, and the night’s wild confusion feels like a dream.
